My American cocker spaniel weighs 45 lbs and is active and muscular. This is the 2nd cocker I have owned that weighed this much. Why are those 2 larger than another two?

Hi Cheryl,

There will be genetic differences leading to variations in size. It is only a problem if they have been malnourished, have a disease or there is another reason they have been unable to develop properly.
