Using gloves, apply a few drops directly on the area affected with ringworm, spreading it around with a cotton swab. Re-apply the tea tree oil three times a day until your pet gets better. Make sure to not touch the infected area as ringworm can be very contagious.

Neem oil is also good to treat ringworm in dogs naturally. Neem oil is a suitable remedy for cases of ringworm in dogs because it has strong anti-fungal properties. The best way to put it on your pet is by mixing two and a half teaspoons of Neem oil with a cup of aloe vera and apply it twice a day.

Applying grapefruit seed oil is another good home remedy for taking care of ringworm in dogs. The anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties that this type of oil has make it a star treatment option.

  • Disinfect the house of ringworm. Wash all bedding, blankets, clothes and dog toys and all the objects that your pet may have come into direct contact with. You can use chlorine and detergent to eliminate the fungus spores. Do it on the first day of treatment and when it's completed, so between 7 to 15 days later.
